I started Arden Property Care because I know how much trust it takes to leave your home behind — and how reassuring it feels to know someone local is looking after it.
If you own a home on the Costa Blanca but only spend part of the year here, you probably know the feeling. You wonder if everything is alright after a storm. Whether the house feels damp after a long winter. Or if someone reliable could step in quickly if something unexpected happens.
Arden Property Care is my answer to those questions.
A little about me
How I came to this
I’m German, and I’ve lived in Spain for almost ten years. Guardamar del Segura has been my home for the past five, and over the years I’ve become deeply connected to this area and the people who make it work.
Through my work, daily life, and being part of a Spanish family, I’ve learned which contractors are reliable, how homes here respond to the seasons, and the little things that make a big difference when you’re looking after a property from abroad.
Long before Arden had a name, I was already the person friends and neighbours called when they needed help — to check on a house after a storm, meet a contractor, or make sure everything was ready before they arrived.
Eventually, I realised this wasn’t just something I enjoyed doing. It was something I could do properly and professionally for many more homeowners.
Everything I do comes back to three things
Someone local.
I live here all year round. When something needs attention, I’m nearby — not a call centre hundreds of kilometres away.
Someone who is there when you are not.
Whether you visit a few weeks a year or spend entire seasons here, I’ll make sure your home is looked after in between.
Someone you can trust.
Your home and your peace of mind are not things I take lightly. Everything is agreed in advance, communicated clearly, and done exactly as promised.
How I work
A careful way of doing things
Before Arden, I spent my career in international compliance and audit — work that lives or dies on being thorough, organised and trustworthy. It might sound a world away from looking after holiday homes, but it shaped everything about how I work: clear agreements, careful records, nothing left to chance.
You’ll always know what I’ve done, when I did it, and what I found.
Because looking after someone’s home isn’t just about the property itself. It’s about giving them confidence that everything is exactly as it should be.

When I’m not checking on a client’s home, you’ll often find me on a padel court, walking along the beach, or enjoying one of Guardamar’s cafés with my husband Jonathan.
We’ve built our life here and genuinely love this part of Spain. That’s one of the reasons Arden means so much to me — I’m not simply running a business here. I’m caring for homes in the community I call home myself.
